⏱️Timed events

Timed events are part of the powerful attention economy structure of SpaceFreaks as it allows short noticed events that guarantees a certain outcome. This may be a single fixed trait or multiple traits throughout all remixes during that period.

This allows the team to push a new trait and instantly open a short-period timed event that allows holders to remix their asset with a guaranteed outcome for one or more traits.

Timed event remixing may have an increased SpaceDust cost that varies for every single event. The cost depends on multiple factors.

Example: Squid Games is taking over all social media, news papers and headlines across all channels. Tokens are being created and trending everywhere. Solution: We push a 24-hours timed event for a new Squid Game SpaceFreak helmet that holders can remix into for X SpaceDust tokens.

These timed events allows us to quickly and over time attract new community members - without diluting our supply or removing any value for our existing holders. These events will in fact potentially increase the rarity of some assets as people remix away from existing traits into these new ones.

Once a timed event is over the trait will join the normal remix pool and be part of the normal remixing process. Unlike seasonal traits the timed event traits will continue to be part of the pool forever.
